As experienced coaches, we understand the role physical activity, play, and sport play in helping kids be successful on the field, in the classroom, and in life. But creating a safe space and understanding context is not enough. In order for our young people to grow and thrive, they must first heal, which means we, as trauma-sensitive SBYD coaches, must creative an atmosphere that allows for this to happen.

This 2-hour, advanced coaching skills webinar is designed to help coaches expand their understanding of sport as a medium for healing and how to leverage their role in the most intentional and effective manner possible. During our time together we will talk about how our sports already contain elements to support healing, what the elements of healing are, how they appear in sport, and what practical application looks like. As part of this training, participants will receive 2 hours of professional development training credits.

We hope you will join us as we provide a few final thoughts before the close of your service term and continued journey through coaching!
