You are invited to participate in this day-long workshop that focuses on strategies that will help you provide a safe space for young people who have experienced trauma. You will leave with a better understanding of the impact of trauma on behavior and the ability to identify strategies that will work with your own program’s culture, activities, staff and stakeholders.

This day of training, sponsored by the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation, will feature workshops presented by Up2Us Sports focused on informing and preparing coaches on the realities of stress and its impacts on young people's behavior in and outside of sport. Our goal for the day is teach you practical skills and techniques that you can immediately implement upon leaving the day in order to better support your player's feeling of safety and support with your team environment. Additionally, the day will be an opporutnity for you to meet and network with coaches and youth professionals from all across the city and through the networks of both Up2Us Sports and the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation. 

We are excited to be providing this amazing opporutnity to support coaches doing some incredible work and hope to see you there. 


*The session for the day begins at 9:00am with registration opening at 8:30am.

**Lunch will be provided.
